ALMAFORGE FREE LICENSE

Effective: September 1, 2026

SCOPE​

This License governs your Use of the Software made available by the Licensor on the terms set out below.

Use not permitted by this License requires a separate written agreement with the Licensor. Where you have entered into an Enterprise License Agreement, that agreement exclusively governs the deployments it expressly covers and supersedes this License for those deployments.

ACCEPTANCE​

Your Use of the Software constitutes acceptance of this License. If you do not agree to its terms, you must not Use the Software.

If you act on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have full authority to bind that entity to this License.

You represent and warrant that you are acting in a business or professional capacity and not as a consumer. You must be at least 18 years old to Use the Software.

LICENSE GRANT​

Subject to the terms of this License, the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to Use the Software.

LIMITATIONS​

You may not alter, remove, or obscure any licensing, copyright, or other notices of the Licensor in the Software. You may not use the Software’s name, the Licensor’s name, or the Licensor’s trademarks to imply endorsement of your products or services without the Licensor’s prior written consent.

Unless otherwise specified in writing by the Licensor, this License permits Use of the Software for up to 50 SSH server nodes, 3 Kubernetes clusters, 10 applications, and 10 databases per Cluster, with no more than 3 Clusters and 10 human users authorized to access the Software per Licensee. Any Use exceeding these limits beyond a single grace period of up to 30 consecutive days per Licensee in any rolling 12-month period is not licensed under this License.

You may not move, change, disable, or circumvent the license key functionality in the Software, and you may not remove or obscure any functionality in the Software that is protected by the license key.

NOTICES​

You must ensure that anyone who receives a copy of the Software, or any part of it, from you also receives a copy of this License and all accompanying license and copyright notices.

NO OTHER RIGHTS​

These terms do not imply any licenses other than those expressly granted in these terms.

TERMINATION​

If you Use the Software in violation of these terms, such Use is not licensed, and your license will automatically terminate. If the Licensor provides you with a notice of your violation, and you cease all violation of this License no later than 30 days after you receive that notice, your license will be reinstated retroactively. However, if you violate these terms after such reinstatement, any additional violation of these terms will cause your license to terminate automatically and permanently.

NO LIABILITY​

AS FAR AS THE LAW ALLOWS, THE SOFTWARE COMES AS IS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION, AND THE LICENSOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE USE OR NATURE OF THE SOFTWARE, UNDER ANY KIND OF LEGAL CLAIM.

GOVERNING LAW​

This License is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.

DEFINITIONS​

"Affiliate" means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with an entity, where "control" means ownership of more than 50% of voting rights or the power to direct management.

"Cluster" means a named AlmaForge deployment together with its certificate authority, its replicas, and a restored standby. Renaming or certificate authority rotation does not create a new Cluster.

"Licensor" is Mezeware Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 16069294, UK VAT No. GB507668762), whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, and contact email is [email protected].

"Software" means the AlmaForge software, including server daemons, client utilities, container images, and related packages made available without charge by the Licensor.

"Use" means downloading, installing, copying, configuring, running, or interacting with the Software.

"You" (or "Licensee") means the legal entity, organization, or individual agreeing to these terms, together with its Affiliates.
